Anyway, Anthropic claim that their engineers get Claude code to do 90% of their git operations for them. I am sad that the days where I can justify my continued employment by fixing people's git problems are finally coming to close. Or possibly just getting started.
It's easy to see Git as some platonic form that birthed itself from the void, rather than a tool made by a person, contingent on the context it was built in, which is neither perfect nor particularly ergonomic.
Who's the contemporary equivalent of Brian Eno, or William Gibson? Do they not exist, or are they only visible in retrospect?
