In the process of buying a dressing gown on the internet, I notice that the checkout flow uses Adyen. I start telling A, who had never heard of them, that they're essentially the same as Stripe but mysteriously hyped. We wonder why no one talks about them. Then the payment repeatedly fails and I am unable to buy a dressing gown.
